| #2 | Vicki - so enjoying reading your "convention memories" ---
One good thing - It doesn't scare me (as the person taking over, for those who don't know!) I think I am like you in one way - as much of a headache as somethings can be - I just thrive at the thought of the challenge! Since this is mostly what I do (including some of my production jobs!) I am looking forward to diving in...
I have one advantage too - one of the hotels I am checking into is one I have dealt with on several occasions though not on an event as big as this may be... but at least "we" (hotel and I) have a track record - and I know they will not be changing hands or closing!!!
I look forward to reading your next installment of the convention memories -- and I so appreciate all the emails back and forth and help you have given me with passing the baton!!! You, Tom, Heike did such an awesome job!! You are to be applauded... now, next one - hopefully you get to enjoy most of it!!!

| #3 | Vicki, I, too, am enjoying your convention memories. Even though my husband and I were there, I have enjoyed reading what other people say and think about it. As for us, we loved it all. It was very well organized and not in the least disappointing!!! Parts were a dream come true. It was a thrill to see the Ponderosa Ranch!!!! __________________ Becky |

| #4 | Oh My what a lot of work! It is much fun reading about all you had to do to get ready for the convention. This fan sure appreciates all that the organizers did to make the convention so awesome!
Looking forward to reading more. |

Your account of the "before-hand" plans, trials and tribulations are so much fun to read! Thank you for sharing them. Looking forward to part 3! |

| #6 | Vicki, I'm also thoroughly enjoying reading about the pre-Convention. I know you've been looking for input on certain events from those of us that were there and have been "wracking my brain" for an interesting story to tell, but I was pretty much back and forth with things and worrying that the Special Guests I was charged with were taken care of. I could probably only give you a "First Time Convention Attendee" recap, as DUH ME, I didn't know that Bonanza Conventions had been going on until I saw the 50th Anniversary mentioned on a website somewhere, then (and I am so grateful) found this wonderful site, and check it each day!
But I am again, so appreciative and grateful for the opportunity to meet you, all involved with the Convention and all the Special Guests that were directly associated with the show and their families. I even now have a couple of the little Bonanza figures (Ben and Jamie) and they are truly awesome. I bid on and won Ben's Buck after the quiz, so they're all having a great time playing together. The photo CD from Bailey is awesome - I didn't get a chance to go to Virginia City, so what a treasure all the pictures from that trip is.
A big Texas hug to all. Kathy |

| #7 | I am still looking for short write ups (500 words or so) for each of the panels and slightly logner ones for the dinner and the party - I have all the others now.
Anyone who can help with any of the above please contact me as it is now urgent to get the magazine out for the end of the year.
